Not just shape. Look at the cladding on the co-op buildings. Practically the same colour.

July 23 - Finished partitions between the individual unit balconies are now being installed. The partitions appear to be quite different from the normal balcony railing type partitions, but are full height, three dimensional triangular assemblies with what appear to be ventilation grills near the top.

July 30 - Two new items at 88 Bathurst. First, privacy partitions are being installed on the sides of balconies where they project out from the neighbouring suites. Secondly, plantings are in place on the north side of the terrace where the tower floors go up from the podium.

August 7 - The Bathurst Street sidewalk area has been cleaned up a lot, much of the building material being staged there and associated equipment has been removed.

As if Toronto didn't already feel like a prison. Surely making a building look like the inside of an overcrowded prison will help us feel more at home.

It's not nearly as nice as the original renderings suggested but still more appealing than those soul-less expanses of glass that have blemished the city the last 25 years.
