With so many vacant lots in the downtown core, it's a shame we have to lose a heritage building for this one. Surely the city could've worked a bit harder with the developer to acquire an empty parcel of land or a parking lot elsewhere downtown?

They should at least keep the front part of the facade like they usually do in Toronto lol!
