The lights at the top of the TD Canada Trust Tower look awkward. Why only light up the very top and not the all of the tapered portions below as well? The building possesses so many interesting lines and it's such a wasted opportunity to not highlight them more thoroughly. Scotia Plaza and Royal Bank Plaza would also look great with crown lighting. What other city on the planet would neglect such architectural jewels, in this regard? Even smaller towers like Commerce Court North should have crown lighting. Funny how it's mostly the forgettable towers in the city that are illuminated at night (CityPlace, for instance), and basically the entire CBD is a sea of darkness (save the glow coming from office windows).

It would be nice if GWL decided to update their 33 Yonge St. property, perhaps take on a re-development partner.
There is so much potential for that site to be something great, particularly given it's size.

I'd be fine with an office tower here or an extension of Berczy Park to Yonge St.
