An Application has been made to the City of Vaughan to build a pair of 36 storey condominiums on the site of the Park Avenue Place Condos Sales Office (north of Jane St. and Rutherford Rd., east side, next to Bellaria Condos). Application OP.20.017 and Z.20.044.

This has been rejected at the OLT following a 33 day hearing with 19 different expert witnesses, according to the NRU, in a rare developer loss.

Apparently the rejection was based on compatibility issues with the immediately adjacent MacMillan Yard to the north.

Anyone have a copy of the decision?

The concern was with the switching tracks to the north, not the yard itself, apparently.
