That is correct. Everyone has to dress up in their finest attire on the first day of excavation for the event to be considered 'formal'. This hasn't occurred yet.

Overlooking Alter and (barely), 365.
(Literally) between them, the two projects are making quite the use of wee McGill Street... (seen through the portal-driveway to the right).

Here Tridel has set up a webcam to watch the project from almost directly above -- apparently since late August.

(Never linked to a webcam still before -- not sure if image will work ... from 2015.12.03.18.17

Walking by today it looked like full-on excavation. I should probably take pics, but there's way too much competition and judgement/criticism for novice photographers on here so I'm scared to post them lol.

Today's (phone!) camera shot here:

Also updated: the slideshow from a fixed camera on the gallery's third floor - Oct 30 to Dec 18:

(Addendum: Seen in another browser, and not signed in to GooglePlus, the images seem low-res and do not advance -- i.e. one must return to the gallery view to select the next image ...)

When's that parking lot across Church from these 2 developments gonna bite the dust? That stretch will feel totally different when those 3 lots are all built out, it'll be weird to refer to it as the "village"
