Only 3XN-designed buildings allowed here.

I'm personally thrilled that the City designated the corner of Queens Quay and 3XN as its first "Intersection for Design Excellence" pilot project.

Results speak for themselves so far with the best yet to come.

From this evening. I guess it would be hard to facet out these curves with cladding.

I think they said that of The One and the L Tower too...

...to be fair though, with such elaborately sculpted floor plates, it isn't really that surprising it's taking this long.

Seeing in another nearby building thread a map that still lists the base of this as a community center. Do we know if that’s still happening? Is there a city budget line item for that yet? If I recall, the parliament slip renderings had some nice canoes on the Aqualuna side.

There is 2,422 m² of space for a community centre in the part of the ground floor north of the breezeway that faces the slip. It includes space for a gymnasium, but no other plans have been released at this point AFAIK.

We do in fact have more info.

Hopefully it's not delayed like the One Yonge Community Centre, who knows when that one is going to open. They've now changed that one to have a vague opening date of Early 2023, which clearly isnt happening seeing as there's still construction going on there.
