Neat stuff happening today. Seems like they are getting rid of the ramp. Not sure how they get rid of the heavy equipment once the ramp is gone.

Thanks for the pics. The heavy equipment will be lifted out.

Generally by a mobile crane on the street, as the weight of the equipment exceeds the lifting capacity of a tower crane. A tower crane's lifting capacity varies according to how close / far a way the lift drop is from the mast of the crane, the further away from the mast the lift is, the less the weight that can be lifted. While a mobile crane has similar limitations (the greater the horizontal distance from the base, the less that can be lifted), there is more flexibility in their positioning with respect to the load to be lifted, and, depending on model, a mobile can have greater lift capacity than the tower tower crane.

You guys are so informative!

Hopefully I will be able to confirm for myself sometime.

I missed the medium sized buck hoe getting up the hill (the hill seems to disappear and reappear btw).

I did catch small buckhoe going down the hill!

I feel that given this site's location south of Soudan, that this development will make a significant impact on the Y-E skyline in most of the neighbourhood.
