New Park at Leslie & Eglinton Development

Project Timeline

  • Winter 2021: Conceptual Design Development and Community Engagement
  • Spring 2021: Final Design Development
  • Summer 2021: Tender for Construction
  • Spring 2022: Anticipated construction
The timeline is subject to change.

A new 2604 m2 park is being designed at 1087 Leslie St., located at the northeast corner of Leslie Street and Eglinton Avenue. The project is a joint park dedication in partnership with the Auberge on the Park Tridel mixed-use and residential developments being proposed on the site.

The proposed park is in the concept design phase, which broadly outlines the proposed amenities, design features and layout of a space. The proposed park will include the following elements:

  • A children’s playground with junior and senior play equipment
  • A splash pad
  • An open lawn area
  • A small amphitheatre

Was curious about the progress here, turns out there is a live camera here just like The Well. Actually funny enough it's way higher quality than that one and you can even scroll back all the way to beginning of construction.

Precast is up on the podium, looks decent. Tower shape is funky, if not clunky overall.

There is also some glass visible on the townhouses, no spandrel visible yet other than some dark gray headpieces, but the glass is greyish.
