It's so exciting - almost surreal to see these shots of this site finally being dug up, pile driving happening and generally moving forward after so many years as a parking lot. Great photos!

Its awesome to see progress on what'll be the most skyline defining building to be constructed in this city in over 30 years (since FCP went up).

Hmm. John Lyle's greatest Toronto branch bank facadectomied. I'm not so sure I'd find that a worthy prospect.

Agreed, in five years we'll see a lot of changes from Gould to College with Aura going up, though I'd call it comfortable scuzziness. There's nothing threatening around here.
 
Assuming of course that youth hostel/homeless place on Gerrard, the Evergreen centre for street kids, the male strip joint next door, sex shop a few doors down and oh, the Zanzibar move out en masse in 5 years..then, yeah, it will be less scuzzy. Stranger things have happened :)
