According to the City Planning Final Report ... Axiom west tower has only 5.6 metres setback to the west property line

http://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2015/te/bgrd/backgroundfile-81024.pdf

Ivory has practically had zero setback since it was a blank wall anyways ... it's terrible that Axiom has units in this area facing the blank wall with so little distance ... clausophobic maybe?

Today.

There is not one piece of precast on this development that isn't terribly chipped. It looks thin and flimsy to begin with, but with the defects it's a really sorry sight.

with ugly neighbours like Axiom, it makes one appreciate Ivory next door so much more ....

Ivory should be winning major awards compared to this mess. I thought it could be okay initially but as more cladding gets put up the worse it gets.

Walked by today and it is a bit of a dog's breakfast. The grey is not an appealing grey. Got some pics of the (thankfully few) balconies that stare at Ivory's blank wall.

No different from what you would find in Mississauga circa 2005. Some of these builders don't seem to do any homework on the area, do they? How do you put up this generic turd in the "Design District"?

Thankfully there are a couple good projects going up to the East of this.

My only issue with Ivory is the terrible ground level. Aside from that, it's not bad. But this is terrible.

Update:
It has been just over six months since we last checked in on the construction of Greenpark Homes and Fieldgate Homes' Axiom Condos, a two-tower condominium development on Adelaide Street East, between Sherbourne and Parliament Streets. At the time of our last update, the first elements of exterior cladding were being applied to the rising 19 and 21-storey Kirkor Architects-designed towers. Since then, the project has surpassed two important milestones, with the shorter east tower topping out at 19 storeys at the end of May, and the taller 21-storey tower reaching its final height earlier this summer.
