Hi Interchange….I know we are practically neighbours as our paths crossed at the community meeting for this project…lol, and we both asked questions that we recognized as being UT’ers. I thought I’d share my view of the site as best I can see it.
It'll take out some of your skyline view unfortunately, but you'll be able to get good pics for the Forum when it finally rises!

Hi Interchange…yes I will sadly. I’m on Crown Hill so there’s a steep incline…I’m hoping I’ll still see the tops of the tallest in the the CBD, but who knows. on the up side though….my view north and south of there will have lots of new beasts to fill in what doesn’t get blocked. I also have a pretty good view of Humber Shores from my balcony as well…so I’ll adapt lol. Where are you? Your pics suggest east end of Berry?

What a nice view. Southport square and this project will probably block some of it, but when everything is built here, in HBS and South Swansea, you will have quite an urban surrounding!
I'm really looking forward to First Capital's HBS plans… even if a bit leery now that Pemberton is the residential partner. (They need to bring their A-game, à la U Condos.) If the City manages to build a new north-south road through part of the Sobey's plaza under the Gardiner and down to Lake Shore, that will be the best new thing to come from HBS's redevelopment for the area north of it.

Is there any update on 'Queensview' construction? Above grade construction started for Queensview?
Yes! (Sorry, I've been slow to upload!) The excavation in front in many of these is for Phase 3, 'The King's Mill', while coming up out of the ground is Phase 2, 'The Queensview."
