NY towers are the worst of the recent boom towers , just awful, although , i recall reading here they were supposed to be much taller,...which would have made them slimmer?, and just better.....for all the critics of city place , uptown etc....this is bad. (NY Towers)
It's funny, Uptown alludes to NY, and does a pretty decent job. These towers are stating the fact and are horrible. You don't mimic actual, architectural, specifics ever, unless your Las Vegas, (still awful, but they get it?) ....or if you are borrowing, say the buttresses of a cathedral, and adhering to that asthetic, but from a different school. Cathedral to tower (Chicago Tribune)....not tower to tower.

A beautiful spring morning March 25,

Thank you AG. I don't know if im alowed to take pics of the inside of these buildings. But, if anyone knows that i wont get in trouble, I would gladly show everyone the superb finishes on the insides of the units.

I really like this project for some reason. The rooftop elements are nice, but I think the selling point for me is the name; "Beyond The Sea & Star."

check back in this thread, UD hates these buildings as well. As for me, totally digging the sail boat motif of the roof elements / bulding shape. Cant speak for quality of construction or materials but these sure are eye catching from the highway.
