Can anyone tell me the commercial tenants? That is, if they are known. I don't mean to be negative, but the number of restaurant/cafes in renderings that actually end up being Shoppers' or dentists is staggering in this city.

It is nearly unheard of to have the commercial tenants signed up this early in the process. Commercial tenants normally don't want to commit much more than a year out from occupancy, unless they're a bank or similar where there's less market variability to deal with.

It's funny that you say that because I was hoping that it be salvaged and reused somewhere. Keep us posted!

The "Blue Bird Building" block lies smashed among the rubble of the now entirely demolished building.

Yikes, sorry was going to ask Brad about the sign tomorrow! Not sure if we would have been able to save it.

Well that sucks. :( This is what I hate about developers--not saving the cool bits of our history or even recognizing they may have meaning in the future as 'art.' (At the very least, make a cast of the sign before you smash it.) That sign had value--many of us have memories of our bus rides to hell...aka school.)
