I took a few photos on the way home today. Contrary to my previous guess, it would appear that fruit juices and fruit purees are being injected. Is this supposed to make it more pleasant once the digging begins?? :)

What the?!?! Who would have dumped these here, and why? It doesn't seem like the most out-of-the-way spot to get rid of something, but someone's succeeded in that so far.

Not sure if that's sarcasm or not, but I don't think these were dumped. They are definitely something to do with the drilling the went on (see post #230 above) and those posts that went up. The posts and barrels are located at multiple spots throughout the property. I thought the labelling on them was quite funny (my post was intended to be sarcastic), but I suspect they are not currently holding what the labelling indicates. Maybe a geological engineer out there can enlighten us as to what might be going on at this site??

Yea, those barrels arrived with the crews that did the drilling. They are either empty and just being reused for something else, or the construction crew is full of hipsters needing their fix of organic apple juice and banana smoothies.

The barrell being reused for something else makes too much sense. The ph of the ground is probably too high.

I have no idea what the barrels of juice are for but the "posts" installed are definitely monitoring wells. They are used to monitor groundwater levels as well as quality. You can see many of the same posts around Regent Park.

lanterra is probably letting this project sit for a bit until some of the other projects in the area have progressed/ cleaned things up a bit more. I imagine they'd get more money that way. They have/ continue to work on the houses on glen rd. So they haven't forgotten about this.
