How can they possibly look at that and go "yeah, that's better than the aA proposal" ??? I realize Concert has familiarity with IBI and aA probably charges a higher fee, but their design was head and shoulders above this bland, corporate crap. They didn't even keep the brick podium that respected the heritage datums so nicely. The proportions, materiality, and clean neo-modernist language have been turned to crap.

Shaking my head @ you, Concert.

Pretty ho-hum, but any development here can’t come soon enough. Those heritage buildings and their surroundings have been boarded up for years and contribute greatly to the seediness of the area

Regardless of whether it is disappointing or not it looks NOTHING like the existing towers in the area. Old or new
