I'm surprised this height was approved in this area. I'm almost always one for height, but this looks ridiculous here. Perhaps future development will soften it out...but I'm not sure what's down the pipe to make that call.

There's likely to be a condo where the Waverly is and the College Condos just across Spadina and CAMH help this one feel slightly more in place but otherwise agreed. It's really an unfortunate pile and a tall one at that.
