I actually kind of liked that building, if only for the texture it provided to the area. Also the patterning of the ceiling is interesting, although I'm not sure if it actually appeared that way when the building was occupied. I have a morbid fascination with buildings partway through demolition, even if it saddens me, since so many cool details and inner workings are revealed. BSN looks like it tried to pay some homage to the brick colouring, but as we all know comes off looking like a giant piece of particleboard.
 
I find demolitions interesting too. I can't help but note how fast they can take down these mid-rise office buildings now. Even 20 years ago it would be a noisy 8 month affair to take down a building of this size.

Yeah, they're certainly very efficient now, even more impressive considering there's more effort to remove and separate recyclable/salvageable/hazardous materials nowadays too I imagine. I'm sure all the steel is worth something.
