It's aluminum, not precast. It's bound to look more drab in grey weather, you lose the varying highlights of the sun hitting the different angles of it.

Having passed by many times, it doesn't look good in nice weather either, IMHO. Not helped by the bitsy window wall.

Oh well, it's only an entire block.

I really like the silver panels - there is a metallic / reflective quality to them that doesn't come through in photographs.
