I still slip into "car park" occasionally - thanks to British colonial education. You'd find enough people who gets the term here in TO anyways (like "lift").

I think those are words that are not often used by many here but easily understood by most.
There is no such thing as a right to sun light. That argument doesn't work when the right doesn't exist.

I think 'parking stalls' are what one calls (often numbered) parking spaces in a parking garage (or parking lot) - usually inside I think with walls, pillars etc to create a 'stall-like' environment!am I the only one who calls them parking stalls?
