GOD I HOPE SO! Just another reason to tear that elevated piece of cr*p highway down. Wishful thinking ;)
Sadly, it would likely be the glass that gets muted, not the Gardiner that gets replaced. But, luckily, they've likely thought ahead on all this.

This is the top shelf showpiece tower we've been waiting for since the beginning of this current building 'cycle' ....which began around 2007. One Bloor came very close but this one is delivering on every level: design, size, quality, height, and its office to boot. The One will likely bump Toronto's total to 2. A 12 year wait? No one can say we haven't been patient.

The Hub will join the top shelf towers soon after The One and MIrvish + Gehry joining later.

A closer look at the southwest retail building shows the concrete roof; eventually to be a green roof; has been poured. We're still waiting for the 4th-floor concrete to be poured.

A closer look at east side elevator and emergency stairs, tower in progress, and a new extension for the concrete pump that's between crane#3 and crane#4 has an extension in progress
