From yesterday. Between BIG's Unzipped exhibition (it closed at 5) and the light show at the Bentway (started after dark), I toured my old neighbourhood, City Place. While the architecture leaves a lot to be desired, new buildings and thousands of new residents have brought life into the once-boring area. Restaurants and businesses that didn't exist when I lived there now draw pedestrians to its sidewalks, the park was well-used even on a blustery day, and the school is shaping up nicely. Looking forward to its completion next year!
