I wonder how this impacts the sale of the properties immediately to the south now...
Are you talking about the flight paths? While the revision from January did kill the second tower here, the Dundas site south is largely unaffected (though the small shaving on the north side has been taken into account on their massing):

Thanks for this PE. Not so much concerned about the flight path impacts, but rather whether this updated proposal for the terminal site sterilizes the development opportunity for the Dundas/Bay fronting site/s. The previous tower proposal gave some more breathing room to the south and east. This new update looks like its very close to the property line, so not sure what you can do to the south anymore...

"REPORTER GOES BACK FOR MORE"

Re "the previous proposal" @1Ć0, that earlier image was just created as something to give bidders an idea of possibilities, it was never more than that.

Thank you. I always thought the tower on the terminal site was to be situated as close to Elizabeth St to allow for a tower at the corner of Bay/Dundas.

We will have to see if a 59 storey tower is still viable there... or any tower

From a design aspect, neither of these towers looks particularly innovative IMO. As for the shorter of the two, I have only two words...beyond uninspiring.

I'm finding this aesthetically pleasing, subtly fitting in well within its surroundings, which is all I would ask it to do. Now if someone could develop the lot to the north...

I agree that doesn't seem to be Studio G's best offering, IMO...but I am assuming the quality of materials and design will make up for that shortfall. And assuming also that there's no further work in progress on this proposal side.

Patience, young grasshopper - we have not reached The Cheapening™ phase yet.
