To be fair, ‘fine living’ doesn’t have to include stunning architecture. And they do offer heated balconies, which I guess count as making Canadian living finer 🤷🏻‍♂️


This is the biggest problem with Canada right now. The expectation is that everyone should be able to afford a house. I grew up in a small town house with two sisters that shared a bedroom. There were 5 of us in that tiny townhouse with only one bathroom. I had friends that lived in even tighter situations. Now having two siblings sharing a bedroom is practically unheard of. It's one of the reasons we have a "housing crisis". Everyone needs to have a detached house with a bedroom for each child with 3 bathrooms. Only the well off had that when I was growing up.

July 12 Evening: Still somewhat doubtful about the anticipated late this year for planned residential occupancy, looks like there is still much to be completed, unless lower portions of the buildings are completely self-contained with all necessary building operations and life-safety systems are operational.
