The westbound lanes of Eglinton and both directions of Bayview were paved on Tuesday, June 6. They only went about 40m to each side of the intersection (likely what was in the contract for Crosslinx/whoever is responsible) , so there's some really poor quality asphalt adjacent, especially where the buses have been stopping for the past few years.

In the second photo, the cycle track has been paved (WB Eg at Bayview).

They completed most of the paving overnight (still doing SB Bayview, south of Eg), and have done about 1/2 the lane markings. Example of the interface between new and old pavement looking NB on Bayview in second photo. That's right where the NB bus stops, and the pavement is in very rough shape. It's worse on WB Eglinton, I think!

So, it looks like they've changed from steps along the entire frontage along Eglinton to just two sets of stairs. I assume they'll fill some of the other steps in. I assume this was a late change?

Anyway, some street furniture has been installed.

Probably a construction error being corrected now.

Did they just throw topsoil on top of the concrete steps? If so then it won't be long until the topsoil washes away and the old steps re-emerge...

I assume that's why it's grasses and there isn't a single tree planted.
