The contrast between the LCBO building and those two new 'lighthouse' towers of obscene ugliness is wild.
Even with the former being a box, it's a well designed and strong form..

I shake my head at these buildings everytime I drive west along the Gardiner. They are hideous. The one with the uneven balconies in particular makes zero design sense, even if it had been executed well. Thank god they will mostly be blocked in the future.

To me, the both towers' top look the same as one presented in the rendering and The Yard should be the same. I see nothing wrong with that.

...I see that Herb Tarlek beige on both those towers doesn't do them any good no matter what sun, sunset or sunrise it stands under either. /sigh
