I heard they want a surface parking lot permit so .....I wonder how long they'll keep us waiting for a development application here. My choice: not long, please.

The King-Parliament Secondary Plan clearly says "No additional surface parking lots" but the OMB allowed on one the 154 Front site.That area has enough surface parking! No thanks…

Not sure there is (or was?) a thread. To date any discussion seems to have been on the Data Centre thread. (The City has said 'no' but we all know what that means...I remember a thread for this but cannot find it. Though hard to tell from the street there is extensive demolition happening on the interior of the site.

That's strange, it usually takes 2-3 years for a city building application to be approved, ....so no revenue for youthe city just doesn't want a surface lot operating here. They prefer vacant land to encourage redevelopment as it denies landowners the revenue from a surface lot.
