Still can't believe this is only 5 tracks. I'm thinking there should be more for RER on Stouffville and Lakeshore East, plus GO deadheading to the ERMF, plus future HSR to Ottawa/Quebec.
 
HFR seems likely to go up the Richmond Hill line towards the CP corridor now, however.

5 tracks is also a lot of capacity with the correct signalling system in place.
 
Notice that the three lots north of the site are envisioned as having 5 buildings. This is probably just in the vision stage rather than a plan, but it's nice to see this as a possibility, and gives a sense of how this district will expand beyond its borders.

This looks amazing, but won't Metrolinx be responsible for funding and designing the station as well as selecting the contractor, leaving the developer with little say on the design?
