If that meshing continues around then it's honestly not that bad of an addition. Adds a bit of fun with a crown.

The old building on the corner of Queen and Yonge is all covered up for the restoration process is it not?

What about "Atrium on Bay" across Dundas St West?
Any renovation going on there?
This mall should be better connected to next door Eaton Centre.

In response to your first two questions, the thread for that building is here: Atrium on Bay

ETA: As for your last comment, sure - that would be nice. But there are limits on what can be done with the existing connection (given most of it is located in a subway station). Any new connection further west would not be in a prime location, at least on the Eaton Centre side, thus weakening any business case for spending all kinds of money on one.

And I can't imagine Cadillac Fairview would have any interest in contributing towards a new (or improved) connection - why would they help make it easier for shoppers to wander over and spend money in a building Cadillac Fairview doesn't own? This could change if Cadillac ever purchased the Atrium (in the same way Cadillac suddenly saw the benefit of a new skywalk over Queen once they owned the HBC building and had Saks coming). But even then, connection improvements would still be a challenge, for the reasons set out belowabove.
