Another drone owner — great shots @Keyz!

This is turning into an attractive area, but minus a transit plan it's a bust for me. Huge density but the planning has sorely lagged behind.

Is there going to be office and institutional or will this area only be residential? How far from the Queensway is this? You'd think that eventually Toronto will have no choice but to put a subway going down Queen West and the Queensway. They could easily build density on the Queensway to support a subway too. It's ripe for intensification.

1 minute drive to the Queensway, 5-10 minutes if you're walking. As for Office and institutional space, First Capital (the developer) has stated that they are very open to the idea, but according to them the city may have to compromise with additional residential density. The city has balked at that notion.

Keep in mind this is all very early in the process, so no one has any idea what is going to be built on the Mondelez lands.

If only we had the sweat-inducing Miami Beach weather.... "frosted Miami Beach" under construction.

and if only this area had a fraction of the colour of Miami Beach. it is so disappointing to see this huge cluster of buildings virtually all the same blue-green-gray.

I'd have a Queen West subway snake down from Kingsway to serve Humber Bay, then snake back up along Park Lawn (serving Mondelez site) then head west on the Queensway.

Maybe not the most direct route, but it is where the density is located.

A clear day at last. On a number of occasions recently, with the horrible weather, it was impossible even to see the towers from our vantage point. I would guess the towers are about 100 plus metres tall now. They will soon surpass neighbouring Jade.
