A building of this size outside of the downtown core will be spectacular. It will make the city look more metropolitan. Hopefully, its north facade will be interesting. Many of the buildings in the area look great from the waterfront parkland but quite austere from the Gardiner Expressway--the side that most people see.
The north side should be important....What retail store or stores will they be placing on ground level ? Now that there is no above parking being done. Lots of space for a big store.
That would be great, but I don't believe there's enough room for one here. Maybe one of their new "Independent City Markets"? I could see a full-size Loblaws going into First Capital's redevelopment of the Christie plant lands across Lake Shore.
