That corner with the pub is going to look pretty awkward when these 2 towers are done...

Yea, I didn't realize that until yesterday...I'm just happy that stretch of retail buildings are still intact, it reminds me of how that retail ran uninterrupted through that block, until E Condos came around. Not saying I hate E Condos, by all means, it's a good place to redevelop for a tower, I'm just saying I'm glad they didn't tear down that entire retail fronting side of Yonge.

It looks like the taller tower will be all about the balcony treatment (in terms of being the element that adds the aesthetic and visual interest). Fingers crossed that they will rise the occasion (and price) and not let us down.
 
Ya, I thought this was supposed to be predominantly black? At least white is better than grey. It's still early I suppose.
 
The cladding is going to disappoint from what I see so far. Let's see if the balconies can save it.
