Hard to think of another 'Midtown' outside of Manhattan with such a presence. Obviously it's a long-shot comparatively speaking, but this is fascinating to watch. Another awesome vantage point is from the 401 at Yonge looking south where the towers in Midtown dominate the foreground with parts of downtown visible in the distance, where E condos and 1 Eglinton will look massive next to the CN Tower.
 
K I couldn't wait, despite what I said. It's almost as tall as Yonge-Eglinton Centre (I) and Quantam (south). Turns out I'll be able to see the north tower as well from my vantage point. From this morning:

You are stunned one day to realize it is taller than you (or taller than your building)
 
E Condos now peaking over the Yonge Eglinton Centre from the West. This one is moving swiftly. Its smaller cousin seems to be at around 30 floors, as well.
