Agreed. And how is it they are changing the design at this stage.. Makes no sense. It's almost at grade.

They changed their design long ago when they acquired the property east of the original site,..... it's only that the new renderings are coming out now.

The original slim design was extremely impractical,.... look at it this way. Another slim building from this architect and developer is EmeraldPark,.... which is about 50 feet wide,.... that's enough for 10 feet wide hallways and 20 feet wide condo on either side. Here they were basically going with about 30 feet width (10 feet wide hallways and 20 feet wide condo on one side only. Look at it this way,.... most of the houses in midtown are on about 30feet frontage lots.

Whether you like it or not, a square footprint for a tower is the best use of space in that it minimize construction material for maximum space.

Apologies, Batman. It's really no reflection on your abilities, you must know that. Clearly someone high-placed in the construction field is an ardent fan of the Batman - there's that, too! Please carry on.

Excited to watch this one rise. I have a perfect terminus of the Rio Can and Minto buildings from the road in front of my house; so this will change that view dramatically in a couple of years.
