Had those developer known a subway would be built, they would have built tall condos oppose to those townhouses. They are probably stretching their heads saying damn. The Wincott site has approved high rise development which MANY residents hate along with the local councilor on their side. Too bad so sad their opposition didn't block those approvals.

Let’s not forget who was running the show when that land was sold by the city, and approved for development.

While more sophisticated developers may think in the long term, others just make a quick buck and move on. And complain that the effort required to do a proper development application is “needless red tape”.
