Some new renderings from Metrolinx webpage on the guideway.
Renderings look good at the moment. If they implement this well, people will realise that elevated stations are not disastrous eyesores that subway cultists claim them to be.

edit: though this statement..... 😨 how will this look for the first 29 years post construction?! ill be a geriatric by then!

They've laid down fresh sod on the street corners where the stations are going to be built - what's the point of doing that if construction is imminent?

probably done by the same people who scheduled the very recent installation of the lightpoles that are shortened to accommodate buttonville airport operations....

This picture doesn't seem to show the entrance on the east side of Scarlett. Not sure if that's just the angle of the picture itself.

I really hope they don't backpedal on the secondary entrances for these elevated stations!

Here's the rendering from Metrolinx page for Scarlett station showing the secondary entrance from a wider angle.

Here's a comparison between what it looks like now and the rendering:

And with a (rough) drawing to show the second entrance

Its hiding in the background, you can just barely see some of the glass beside the pillar

I was similarly confused when they paved a new multiuse path on the northside of Eglinton east of Jane not too long ago when it was clear that it was the location of the tunnel portal approaching Mount Dennis. Just over a year or two after completion they tore it up and constructed a two-way bike lane on the south side. Not sure if it was incompetence or negligence but it seemed like an incredible waste of resources.
