This thread will be used for discussion of Martin Grove Station: a proposed below-grade TTC station on the Eglinton Crosstown (Line 5) West Extension, serving the intersection of Martin Grove Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto's West Deane Park neighbourhood.
Just want to add that Martin Grove station is the only one of the underground stations that will have a secondary exit on the opposite side of the road as well. I don't think this fact has been clearly shown in many places. Even the recent Metrolinx rendering only shows the north-west main entrance. I was arguing that all the underground stations should have entrances on both sides of the road. It is possible that cost is the reason they're restricting it to only one station entrance.
The following image is from one of the presentation slides for the Crosstown West Extension from Metrolinx.
Additionally, mentioned in the slide about the station itself.
