What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday, June 19, 2023, crews at Eglinton Station will be removing the crane from the Salvation Army Site. To perform this work safely, limited access to the parking garage and loading dock at 1A Eglinton Avenue East will be required. Access to the parking garage and loading dock at 1A Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted during the below dates and times:
• Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 p.m., until Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.
• Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 10:00 p.m., until Friday, June 23, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.
• Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 10:00 p.m., until Sunday, June 25, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.
Limited access to the loading dock at 1A Eglinton Avenue East will be required from Tuesday, June 20, 2023, until approximately Sunday, June 25, 2023. Large deliveries will be restricted during this time-period.
The loading dock area will reopen once the crane removal is completed. Upon completion of this work, short term lane reductions may be required on Eglinton Avenue to facilitate special activities. This work will take place on a 24-hour basis. For more information, please visit www.thecrosstown.ca
What to Expect
Crews will be removing a crane from the Salvation Army Site. Expect delays while traveling through the area. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while crane removals take place. Noise and vibration from construction can be expected.
HOURS OF WORK
• As early as Monday, June 19, 2023, until approximately Sunday, June 25, 2023.
• Construction activities are expected to take place on a 24-hour basis.
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
• Work may be longer or shorter than expected.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
• Overnight periodic lane reductions will be in place on Eglinton Avenue between Lascelles Boulevard and access to the parking garage at 1A Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted during the below dates and times:
o Monday, June 19, 2023, at 10:00 p.m., until Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.
o Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., until Friday, June 23, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.
o Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., until Sunday, June 25, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m.
