Ellie Condo will have a 2nd floor "Upper Market" - a Food Hall with 29 stalls/units - under construction now and should be ready for occupancy mid-2023.

This is not to be confused with the ground floor "NY Square" (originally called "North York Mews" but City Planning like calling things Square like MelLastmanSquare, GibsonSquare, OliveSquare because they're so square!),.... anyways "NY Square" is the ground floor southern retail strip of EllieCondo 5250 Yonge (under construction now) and the adjacent ground floor northern retail strip of Beacon Condo 5200 Yonge (completed and will open in a few months) that each developer conveyed to City as part of their Section 37 Community Benefit so City can set up a St.Lawrence Market in Willowdale with an outdoor open space in between for special food/community events.
