Why not? Be ambitious. That's a lot of traffic lanes to cross.

Um.... the end goal for Mississauga City Centre is to create a proper downtown and to urbanize. One builds density, then one puts in PT, the road is reduced to 4 lanes of traffic, an apron of retail/amenities is created along the whole stretch, the width of the sidewalks is tripled/quadrupled, and then one builds a quality public realm. We're only at STEP #1.

If the end game of all this construction is simply to create more consumers for Square One, it's all for nought ..... and a colossal failure.

There was a plan to reduce Burhamthrope to 4 lanes with some layover spots until the LRT Loop surface. The road is Tooo wide and not needed for traffic.

The idea of street edge development with some retail is a dream until the mall is 100% redevelop. There is already a request to reduce retail for this site.

All my angles are mostly gone at this time for shooting and leave it to the domes to shoot it.

Something too heavy for the tower crane was to be place in the hole by a mobile crane

They are starting to excavate rest of the hole for the next 2 towers.

By the looks of things, the towers were supposed to be at grade mid June to late June and will be delay by the strike now.

something wrong with that perspective of the second photo, the tower at 70+ floors cannot be THAT much higher than the absolute towers......?
Why not when 70 is greater than 50/56 for Absolute??

You are talking 14 floor difference between the 2 sites.
