I suppose the Tesla Supercharger stations will be moved underground, with hopefully still free access (unlike the situation at Hotel X). Important once Superchargers in Canada allow other EVs to charge and assuming not every parking space will allow for charging. I know cars should not be the focus here, but it's something to keep in mind given current trends.
Why should Superchargers be free? Shouldn't you pay to refuel your car?

Should you have to pay for parking on top?
I suppose I've given up with paid parking at malls; drivers feel that everyone should subsidize their parking spaces, that seems a given. I haven't given up though, I suppose, on drivers of electric vehicles assuming they should get to charge them for free, That's just one step of entitlement beyond belief.

Supercharging isn't free, except for Tesla owners who bought before 2017, who also get free wifi. Everyone else has to pay, but it isn't nearly as much as gasoline.
Interesting. How is it that pre-2017 Tesla owners get it for free? Chargeback to Tesla?

(I do know it's much less expensive that filling a tank with gas, and I am all for people going electric autoshare.)

I guess it was one of the perks of being an early adopter.

Tesla operates the Supercharger network. They bundled lifetime charging with cars sold until 2017.

So sorry for all those poor privileged homeowners, having to endure the dreadful "push to urban living"!!
