I don't think holt Renfrew was ever going to open a store down there. Beyond using it for a holiday pop up. I can't see hr2 working there either which is basically going to be a glorified outlet store as opposed to Barney's co op style store which would work very well in the hood.

That Grand & Toy/Pizza Pizza really is unfortunate, especially when you compare it to the beauty on the opposite corner.

Don't really think Grand & Toy and Pizza Pizza fit in to the local ambient and that piece of land is not in it's full utilization as well.

The stores are just holding income for Great Gulf until they redevelop the site.

Looks like Grand and Toy is leaving soon as this property is up for lease. An upscale restaurant could be a better fit.
