Yep that's it' Ah the Panasonic I really hope they don't plan on getting rid of it without replacement

It appears that yet another Aroma cafe will be going in on the corner of St. Joseph and Yonge.

Royal Bank and Aroma. The preserved street level buildings on Yonge are great, the retail a real meh though.

A friend of mine ranks the level of gentrification of a neghbourhood according to the ratio of banks vs. payday loan shops.

A neighbourhood with just payday loan places is probably a bit rough.

A neighbourhood with just banks is sterile and unaffordable.

If I recall correctly, he maintains the perfect ratio is 2 to 1 banks vs. payday loans. Gentrification is underway, but prices remain affordable. There is some grit, but you feel safe walking the street at night.
