The black glass looks especially good on The Florian. I too would like to see more of it on other projects.

Looking at the old 3-story row houses just north of Five (last pic in #1100), I'm wondering how they might get restored. Since we can't fit a new tower behind every segment, could contributions to the realm that new towers are required to make in exchange for exemptions be transferred from other projects such as on Charles?

I agree with you guys, the dark glass does look fabulous on 5ive. I'm quite surprised that it isn't used more often.

I'm actually surprised it's being used here. Maybe a good sign of things to come. Our propensity to use window wall has left our architectural statements wanting compared to most other NA cities that employ curtain glass.

So far this project is completely living up to - no exceeding my wildest expectations. The tower portion is turning out terrific and what's left of the warehouse looks great. I excitedly await the unveiling of the Yonge Street portion of buildings.

As for the commercial base of the tower, I believe it's been confirmed that Royal Bank and Aroma Coffee Bar are coming. Any idea when they might open?
