Are we paying the price for the new RBC branch here because their old location south of here at the YC site closed down? They move around like flies. Hope they move back down there in the new podium retail once completed and leave these awesome heritage buildings just for interesting businesses.

Unlikely, as they have another location in Aura, one block south of College.

I do love the balconies on this one. Refreshingly different than other buildings in the city. Interesting that they left the smaller balconies to do after the main ones are done, instead of going floor-by-floor all around.

What building is being knocked down in the foreground of this picture? Is it to make room for another condo?

Why isn't the light in the 2nd photo (previous post) located by the curb? It looks like it will just get in the way of pedestrian flow.

There is a major hydro duct and gas line that runs under the sidewalk. The trees could be planted on top of the gas line, but the light standards, which require footings, could not. Hence their placement.
