I noticed they were taking down the billboards on the end of the triangle today.

I think that's what the first pic from @Red Mars is showing.

yup, when I drove by on the Gardiner yesterday the north billboard was already gone and they were removing the south one.

Can't wait until they are down. They have always been bad visual clutter in this part of the city.

Was the ramp on the south side of the bridge part of the original design? Reminds me of the steep ramps at the Puente de Luz bridge at City Place which aren't very easily accessed by bike.

^ Im glad they at least thought about having stairs on this bridge. Puente de Luz isn't as practical to cross with those ramps.

Both this bridge and Puente de Luz have perfectly normally graded ramps for bicycles. Try the Roncesvalles Bridge (connecting Martin Goodman Trail and Roncesvalles Ave.) if you are looking for a cycling challenge with steep, narrow and windy ramps.
