demo activity has started on site. didn't manage to grab a pic but they are tearing into the north side of the building next to the parking lot

Anyone know what they're doing with the top half of that north facade? Curious why it was taken apart.

Cutting the heritage facade off in panels, shoring them up in the rear and storing them off-site until theyre ready to get reattached once the building rises. Called "panelization".

I think they are tearing down the buildings on 260 King St east not 254. If so the address in the rectangular box above this page should be changed lol!

Are these under construction yet? Almost 3 months since the last photo update... most of the demolition was complete back then...

No Permits issued yet for shoring/foundation work. Will likely be a few weeks yet anyway.
