So @BubbleorNot is right, CentreCourt appealed the OMB decision to the Divisional Court.

Meanwhile, the City, Amexon (who own the Grand Hotel just to the south), and CentreCourt have all been talking, and are working out the details on revisions to both the plans for this site and and for the Grand Hotel site, and the intention is to have it all worked out in time for an OMB hearing that the Grand site has in mid-January. Pending the agreements, CentreCourt will drop the appeal, and we will likely hear about the revision to the proposal fairly early in the new year.

There are no disagreements so intractable that they can't be overcome with the application of vast sums of money. :)

The site from the southwest. Redesign announcement coming in January?

Both the demolition and building permits were awarded to Center Court on January 27.
Does this mean that they won their appeal with the OMB? How do we know what adjustments had to be made to plans in order to win their appeal?

well the permit fairly clearly says that it is for a 3 storey sales centre.. not sure where the confusion is coming from.

It's not a case of winning an appeal, it's a pronouncement from the OMB regarding an agreement the City came to with the Amexon proposal just to the south which is taking into account both buildings. That's expected in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, it appears that a new sales centre is needed. That may indicate that many or all of the agreements to purchase in the first version of Grid were cancelled… but it will be a couple of weeks until we know for certain.

Sources say Grid will go through. Slight change to original design, but all other units will have no or little change. The change will include additional units thus new sales centre. News will be coming out soon. What I have said may not be true. Thanks
