Haven't a lot of the 'downtown' hotels closed or are set to close?

This hotel will probably do well. Still think it's a shitty use of the Ex grounds.

It's a tragedy that it was allowed to be built. And I'm not even talking about the look.
 
I'm not talking about the Architecture.

I think a hotel is a bad use of the lands at the Ex Grounds.
 
I'm fine with the hotel aspect, but the design puts it solidly in the what the hell were they thinking category. When the mullet makes a comeback this building might be in style.

How is a hotel a bad use right beside a large exhibit/convention facility? In my opinion, It should have been midrise and, obviously, from a better firm.
 
Looks best when partially obstructed by prettier things, such as grass.

I used to be in the keep the Exhibition Grounds low rise camp but with this turd, I'm solidly in team build up and build dense and cover up this eyesore STAT! Low rise on Princes Blvd. and towers along Lake Shore.
