They will not; Emerald Park is behind HC by at least 8 months; and I doubt it will be ready before late 2014. But I agree with you--it would look great if they both were finished at the same time.

May 12th 2012:

- Work continues on the weekend
- The connection to Sheppard Station looks like it's 2 stories deep
- The corner square starts to form

It looks like they are building a walkway

Nice view! Thanks for updates! Here is a ground-level view from Yonge:

Back of the building, south-east corner. What you see is not three-stories but a P5 and main level split in two:

The square appears much smaller than what I was expecting. That might actually prove to be a good thing, since it won't feel as barren when empty, and it should feel more enclosed once the west side of the street gets built up

Again this is another project that can be best seen from the balconies or office windows until it gets up to their floor.

I only expect to take about 8 shots of this complex after I get back from Europe in Sept. Unless thing change before I leave, this is my last shots of it until I return.

The houses south of Sheppard on Tradewind, where the extension was to go are at times up for sale.

It does not appear that they will be torn down any time soon. In fact, on another thread there was discussion that a revised intersection plan where Doris would not be extended south through the existing houses. There would be new traffic lights at Tradewind and Sheppard and a revised intersection there.

With the 88 condo at Doris and Sheppard (east corner) there may be some further delay in new street arrangements.
