I'm downtown (Ave Rd & Bloor) and everything is normal here. Just some slippery sidewalks

I am posting this reply in NYC in which the high temperature was 70 degrees F today and I would like to
know myself how Toronto is in the aftermath of this storm...

If anyone has any information concerning this storm please direct us...LI MIKE
 
300,000 homes without power. But since every home has 2 or 4 people living in it, its almost 1 million people

We had a bit of brief (1-2 seconds) brown out on QQW earlier ... the thermostat is the only thing that fried.

You can see that one of the houses is clad with EIFS.
 
I'm on 24 hours without power. Finch and Leslie area. On one side of the street there is power. The other there isn't. Lulz
 
It's ok! It's just so wonderful, charming and character enhancing to string out electrical infrastructure on rotting wooden poles!
 
I wonder how much electrical infrastructure could be buried with the associated costs of maintaining the above ground system. Including natural disasters.
